Steel Brush Descaler for Wire Drawing Process
Wire rods are covered with an oxide layer, which must be removed before wire drawing. These machines are integrated with the wire drawing line and are widely used for the production of clean surfaced wires and for the purpose of increasing the wire drawing performance.
Steel Brush Descaler For Wire Drawing Process
The structure of the bending unit adopts a carbide wheel and a curved S-shaped flat surface to mechanically deform the wire, remove the scale, and remove large oxide scales on the surface. The brush row adopts a 90° two-way installation wire brush rotating cylinder structure, and the two bodies are connected in series. Used to remove the remaining tiny oxide particles on the surface of the steel wire after mechanical shelling. They are driven in forward and reverse directions by two 1.5KW-6-pole motors respectively. The working pressure of the brushing machine is sleeplessly regulated by the speed of the motor. A broken wire detection switch is installed at the outlet of the shelling and brushing machine. Once the wire is in the shelling and brushing machine in case of internal wire breakage, the wire breakage switch will operate and the wire drawing machine will automatically stop, minimizing the trouble of re-threading the wire in the pretreatment line.
